Dreamwork is framed within a Jungian perspective. Simple art and writing activities are offered to guide participants back into the dreamscape to both access and move the images forward.
Dreamwork
Dreaming as field work
In this approach it is not always necessary to remember or write down our dreams. A single image or even the feeling or body sensations of the dream will generate an inner sense the psyche will draw on as a resource spontaneously. The unconscious remembers and is already working psychic material that is looking to be expressed. Dreaming is a guiding experience, a process led by the unconscious, gaining inner experience just as consciousness gains experience in the world.
Dreams and art both tap into the healing dimension of the unconscious. Through art making we can come into relationship with the images in the dream and work with it as a living process rather than a static image to be interpreted.
